Creating a personal brand and logo is probably the most difficult thing for a designer, but at the end of the day I’m really satisfied with the result.
I wanted my logo to represent me both as a graphic designer and as an illustrator. My main purpose was to communicate simplicity and creativity at the same time, integrating hand-drawn and digital design techniques.
The font I chose, Gill Sans, has a good readability and legibility. A typical British font, it also suggests my fascination with the UK. The letters form a rectangular shape, communicating stability but also an upward tension. Diagonal strokes add dynamism and evoke my illustrative style. Warm colors convey creativity and energy.
